Welcome - nice to see a few more Atlanteans take up the fight against the European invaders.

Not as much done the past few days as I would have hoped, but some progress. In honor of September 11th, some Americans:

Half Company, 9th U.S. Infantry

So far, represenatives of the 9th on Atlantis consists of a half company, though it is expected to be brought up to full strength shortly. The 9th is a Regular Army unit, not Volunteer or National Guard.

1st Platoon

CPT Gable and SGT Reynolds

These guys are painted up as American Infantry in the 1890s. CPT Gable, SGT Reynolds and the bugler are Parroom Station. The kneeling guy and the standing guy with the pistol are Tiger miniatures, and the others are Brigade Games marines from their Carribean Empires range that I converted.

I've had these guys for ages: I'm so glad I have them done! I'll probably end up fleshing them out to be like the rest of my 20 man VSF "companies" eventually with some more Parroom Station or Tiger miniatures.

Thanks for looking,
Cadet13

Very cool!  I only wish my Confederates were operating in the same Atlantean theatre as your Yankees.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

Not a whole lot, but some more painted stuff. First, some more Americans:

Illinois National Guard Drill and Ceremony Company

This company from the Illinois national Guard was shipped to Atlantis as part of a misunderstanding. Shipped without their tropical uniforms, these men will have to fight in the heat of southern Atlantis in their full dress uniforms, complete with Hardee hats. Being a drill and ceremony company, they carry the National and Regimental standards, and have brought their drummer along as well.

So far I only have the command done.

SGT McGillicuddy with the National standard (AKA "Old Glory").

CPL Jones with the regimental standard.

CPT Howard and the drummer, PVT Wilkins.

All are from Crusader Miniature's "Rank and File" line, "Civil War Infantry in frock coats and hardee hats." The flags are hand-painted superglue-stiffened papertowel squares wrapped around the poles.

And some Brits:

British Infantry Command

The commander of the British Infantry in the south of Atlantis is the venerable Colonel Sir Rochester Cummerbund, and his stalwart Sergeant Major Melborne Buttersworth.

CSM Butterworth and COL Cummerbund

Cummerbund is a Parroom Station mini and Butterworth is from Eureka.

One more Atlantean, another temple guard:

Another Eureka Hawaiian.

And finally a pack mule. Painted generically so it could be used by any Europeans or Americans on Atlantis.

From Askari miniatures. I really like their mules. I have a couple more pack animals for a pack train to paint up as well.

Sort of a mixed bag, but it's been a busy couple of weeks. You know, real life and all that.  ;)
Well, that's all I've got new for now. Thanks for looking.
