Native Tattoos
« on: August 28, 2011, 07:38:14 PM »
Via Flintlock and Tomahawk, here's an article (in French) from La Compagnie des Cent Associes regarding the practice of tattooing by Native Americans.  Lots of illustrated examples.

Not a direct link unfortunately but if you click on Expo temporaire on the left and follow it through, you'll get there.

Just tried it via my posted link and it worked fine.  One click on Expo temporaire on the main page brings up a second page with a still life painting and the heading L'Exposition Temporaire.  Just click on the heading and you're there.

Yes not so easy to reach, but I got them  :)
Very interesting, but I have already most of them , as  reenactor of  F&IW.
Tahnks for the link.

Okay...the still life was throwing me off -- didn't LOOK like a link.  Found it now.  Very nice -- thanks!

Nice one, added to favourites for when I get round to F&IW (2015 maybe?)
