very nice, would it be considered a scout vehicle? also the two twin weapon mounts would seem to be in each others way or is this even a concern on the model.anyway...the model is very attractive and the paint is good, how do you get the faded stripe effect.mine own efforts all look as if a retarded goblin was at the model.

I'd guess liquid mask applied with a piece of foam or sponge and an airbrush.
I did that on a building : http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=29440.0 that I really should finish sometimes... ::)

Beautiful painting.  The barrels aren't drilled.
This is my boomstick!

I've got to drill the barrels? 'Stripe' was done by masking, hair laquer, spraying, scrubbing. Disasterously so! Mask bled and although I'd varnished the original grey, air-brushed surface it didn't stand up to scrubbing so I affected repairs with a hand-painted, new grey surface (got to love the covering power of Vallejo!). The blue was okay but  I added another layer by with a slightly lighter blue mix dabbed on with a brush.
