Hi Everyone

Was messing around with the idea of a Tree, Woodland Demon / Spirit last night.

Sorry about the poor photo's and blue tack holding the arms on

What do you think?

As someone who is noted for his fondness of STRANGE & SPOOKY Flora, I must say that your Tree Guy is a SPECTACULARLY COOL mini. I'm really looking forward to your progress with him/her/it...&, of course, other Beastys in the Works that you might care to share.

At one point it was going to be a mushroom man, them my friend said it looked more wooden

Not sure what it really is at the moment

Sometimes I just mess around with clay and see what creatures I can make without any planning.

What does this one look like or remind anyone of? ( apart from Rubbish

)

i can see the tree ,what about root like toes as it were,nice fungus on the leg by the way. definitely demon material.

I was very much thinking mushroom man, so I think you are/were on the right track. Maybe try given him a mushroom cap headpiece and see how that looks?

Yeah, mushroom man to me as well.
The eyes seem wrong for a treeman... like they oughtta be deep hollow knots or something... not sure. The current ones almost look like sunglasses.
Also, the texture seems more fungoid to me.

I think the piece has a LOT of character, and it could certainly go in different directions

I like it - think it will go well with the Occulites from Ben...

It does need a top though - bushes and 'shroom would make great options

Definitely a better mushroom man if you ask me. You could even do variant caps to get more figure variety.
