Fall-In Report
« on: November 14, 2007, 04:43:14 PM »
Here are some pictures from our Fall-In hosted games.  The game was set up for 6-7 players and 3 walk-ups.  During the first game we only had 4 ppl:

My Dad and I are explaining the rules and whatnot :-)  The young boy present in the picture rolled his die so well he pretty much killed all the other players single-handedly!  We will no longer play with anyone under the age of 15. . . young kids just roll too well!

We had 10 people show up to play our second game- a full house:

The Sheriff walked out of his office and was promptly gunned down by a gunslinger hiding in the large livery at the end of town.  Don't worry folks, it was merely a flesh wound and the Sheriff and his deputy ended up surviving all the way until the end of the game!  A first for this scenario.

Gotta love the flea market; My dad picked this color piece up for me in between the two games.

I guess that cowboy really had to go!

Fallen Soldiers- Later that night we celebrated our two successful games :-)

I suppose it's only right to have a tenderfoot dude partcicipating....

The comments about under 15s rolling too well are spot-on. My 8 year old rolls dice like a Vegas veteran. I might as well just make my own, with a 1 on every face

Great set-up and it looks like it was a very successful con for you.

It's because up until the age of 16 you have a "luck forcefield". How many times have you seen kids fall out of trees and bounce, then walk away?

After 16, Nature decides you're old enough to look after yourself and off you go to hospital!

You know I stopped by your table, but I didn't make the connection of who anyone was. At some point in time we'll have to have our own Lead Adventure tags.  I stopped because I saw the very large barn that I have mouldering away in a box fully painted and seeing action.  Nice work.

severus, I missed your comments ><

The rules we use are Two Hour Wargames: Six Gun sound, modified for d10.  I can post a copy of one of the character sheets we were using if you would like to see it.  We set the game up so that there were 10 possible factions in play, each with its own set of goals and a set of rivals that should also be in play.  The factions were:

Sheriff
Arizona Rangers
Two sets of Gunslingers
Bounty Hunters
Angry Homesteaders
The South Street Gang
The Silver Palace Gang
The Shanghai Jones Cattle Drive. . .

. . . crap, I forget the last faction, but you get the idea.

Doh!  Joey, did you and I talk about the big barn?  If so I remember you :-)

No, that wasn't me I'm afraid.  I didn't stop to say hi.  I should have though.
