About the carnivale, how about stringing them all together with chain. Maybe some sort of rules mod that they have to go around really close together until the 'master' let's them off the chain ( some random event would let this happen  ??? )

I've already thought about, Jim, that's why the chain on the pic. Will maybe string not all of them but some for sure.

This thread just keep getting better and better.

Lots of inspiration here.

I do have some old painted minis that I still like a lot, even if my painting style and technique has improved over the years (I hope), but Oh! the nostalgia...

Thanks for sharing your WONDERFUL minis and scenery.

Best wishes.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Sorry Alex, didn't see the chain (stupid iPad cuts off the right fifth of the picture and you have to 'pull' ot across with two fingers but I keep forgetting  ::) ).

Chiming in late again, the Ostlanders are BEAUTIFULLY DONE with the vibrant colors I associate with Renaissance costumes.
I LOVE the idea for the Freak Parade; it's has SO MANY possibilities.

I picked up a couple of the Ostlanders when they were available, and regret not acquiring the rest of them now.  Oh, well.

Love the paint job, Prof, but they are certainly bright!  Of course, that fits them, I think.

Those older Citadel ogres are about the size of the current orcs, if a little heavier.

Keep posting more pics! I am thoroughly enjoying this thread.

Thanks! they're GW, official Mordheim Ghouls, unfortunately OOP.

VERY COOL Ghouls! They're the healthiest looking Ghouls I've encountered...proves you are who/what you eat...possibly.

Great job on those ghouls.

It is really odd how some of the Mordheim figures are OOP, while others have remained steadily available.

I miss GW's old bitz service - it was a great way to pick up individual models you wanted.

My brother is working on a new Mordheim campaign he is hoping to start next month - three allied warbands defending a village against undead.  Apparently one of the things they can spend time doing is training the villagers as militia.  He was quite pleased to see the new Bruegelburg releases, needless to say.  Neither of us has any of these old Mordheim ghouls, alas.

Excellent minis. And great paintjob, as usual. I am also a bit curious why you picked such warm colours for ghouls?

due to lack of other ideas, I'd say. Did start to make them pale greenish, but that went wrong, I didn't like the outcome at all. So I've made them that way, just like savages.

More great stuff.

I think that the flesh tone work well. Greenish ghouls just do not look right to me.
They are supposed to be degenerate humans, after all. Are they not?

Love the woman with the massive rolling pin.
What range is she from?

Edit; DOH!!!
Just realised that she is a LAM miniature. (Kitchen Guard).

Those and the Desperate Housewife's would make an excellent start for an alternative Sisters of Sigmar warband!

Oh, yes! 8)
I can see it now...............
