So nice !  :-* I love that style of figures. The only issue is that you have to build every figure by hand, due to visual "incompatibility" of that particular style.

It is difficult enough to get decent human sized superheroes...there would be no way I would get Dwarf versions easily :D ...I always knew this little project would be labour intensive but that has always been part of the charm.

The British lion is ready...here is Captain Britain (no decals were used and yes, the cuffs were fun ;) ):

I like him!

Then again, I always thought Excalibur was one of the best series in all of marvel, certainly the earlier team that climaxed with the Necron story arc

I only ever read the first Captain Britain album so I am not familiar with the comic stories...however, he is a great looking super character and fitted the bill perfectly :) .

The only thing is with the inclusion of the union jack, your grymn are now short blokes from the UK instead of aliens from another world. ;)

I had no idea that I have left this project alone for so long!

On the sculpting table, the Beast is just waiting for his head to be finished and he will be able to join the team.

I have had quite a 'Muse Deficit' recently so have been a bit hobby light (add to that an Urban platoon, Salute 2012 and some walker painting) but I am climbing back on the hobby horse again and Beast will be a fitting return.

I have gone for the blue hairy version of beast... the one with just trunks on. He should be finished over the next couple of days but I'll get some pix very soon :).

Hopefully, Beast will lead to further super-soldier recruits soon :)

I do love those Grymn-sized Marvel characters; Captain Britain has turned out amazing (I am ashamed I missed seeing hi  painted - my shame).

With all that red, what about a Red Hulk? I would love to see Cap and the Vision if you ever feel motivated to tackle more. Brilliant stuff.

Thanks :)

Cap is on the cards but I can't make a Vision because his powers don't fit with the brief. Red Hulk? Maybe but I am quite brute-heavy at the moment so I'm more likely to go for a more light-weight character (Hawkeye maybe?).

Until then, here is Beast:

He is being painted as we speak :).
