Re-release of Lindberg LCI/L in 2012??

I have heard that Lindberg has scheduled the re-release of their LCI/L in 2012.  Does anyone know if that is correct?  Also what scale is their LCI/L?  I've been watching ebay for an old one but I haven't seen any show up.  Thanks.  Richard

About 1/169.5 is what we calculated years ago. Actually built one of my (scarce) ones a couple of years ago to land Commandos on a Normandy beach for a FOW D-Day game. Inspiration came from an article in a modelling magazine (I think Military Modelling).

Always a favourite vessel for me, Amphibs have a lure all of their own.
