A Different type of unit for VBCW
« on: September 26, 2011, 08:59:28 PM »
Just loved these figures when I saw them on the forum.  It took some time to work out the fluff for them but it runs something like this.  The Actors and Actress of the Christmas pantomime have joined the local defence force.  Lucy Lake and three of her vertically challenged fellow actors.

Where's Lucy from and how much did she cost?

The Lucy figure started as this figure.

Then some green stuff added.  I think it turned out ok

Managed to pick these up second hand so still looking for 4 more.  Have been in contact with Hasslefree and awaiting a reply.  I know they are not Dwarfs but they are just great  figures and I so wanted to get them in my VBCW force.  If anyone has any especially the Lewis gunner W. Miller let me know.
Love them.

Have you been to their website?

These are the Kindred, and there are currently about 12-15 figures in the range, including an officer, and a sniper, with more planned.

Have written to Hasslefree and I am awaiting a reply from them to sort out a pack of five figures.  Still cant get the Goblins in the army but I am working on it.  Are there any plans for other figures races?or other poses artillery crew cavalry?

Sorry bit late to the party but searching for something on a similar theme I came across this post. I have seven of the Hasslefree Dwarf Cavalry just looking for a suitable Snow White Figure on horseback. Any ideas?

Cheers

I'm going to need a SWAT team ready to mobilise, street level maps covering all of Florida, a pot of coffee, twelve Jammie Dodgers and a Fez!

I have a Platoon of the Kin and a matching one of the Goblins in Stahlhelm. One of these days I intend to get some of the Rats and Mice from Khurasan and stage what I termed Under the Floor Wars, effectively well armed Borrowers seeing off the "rivals". A little like Kabboom! - no scenery needed as it takes place around and in ones house and garden.
Cheers
Graham
