My first plastic home made fantasy mini
« on: September 27, 2011, 01:34:30 AM »
Just wanted to share some pics of my first organic mold.

http://proxiemodels.blogspot.com/

I have been playing around with a CNC machine and a 1000 year old injection press out in the shop for about a year now. It has been a bit erratic for sure, but I think I am getting the hang of designing molds and I finally spit out a complex parting line model.   The step by step process for making plastic minis at home by a complete novice is detailed over the course of the blog. I have been limited to machines until this troll. Now I am itching to try my hand again at some more fantasy figs.

I for one have been following your efforts with great interest. I'm hoping you grow into a Renedra.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Yes, there is a link on the blog to a somewhat generic web-store.

Oh, did not notice... I'll have to put the link to my - soon to be heavily updated, I hope - blog.

Your work is excellent for a small operation, and the word must be spread  ;)
