New River Steamer!
« on: September 27, 2011, 11:29:04 AM »
There will be a new River Steamer set form Najewitz Lasermodellbau in late October. The plan is to construct a standard hull with different kind of superstructure, cabins and paddle wheels. As you can see, there is space enough for miniatures, cargo and even big guns. On the following pictures you will see the laser-cut-master in the standard version. The later set will be made of resin. You can also put the machine and funnel in the front part of the ship. The set will include some fittings (anchor, steering wheel…). I hope you like it! I like that. I must admit I'd not come across you before - great stuff. I'm tempted by the tram already.

I would love to see a breakdown of the steamer kit.  Whilst your finished photos are gorgeous  :-* I can't visualise the construction and variations possible.

By Jove what a delightful colonial escapa, love the surrounding scenery too especially the hippos and for the vessel itself the slat windows are great.
