Great stuff as always. Who makes the Wulf figure?

Infinity, part of the Adriana faction. And smartly painted too! In my world(s) he doubles up as,well,me ;)

Thanks all!

-Yes, the wolf & red are a box set for Infinity, Ariadna faction, just worked out nicely that they fit my theme purpose for a duo too.

we played a big game tonight, and the Wolf hit the table, though Red stayed behind (smaller armies)- had to stop right before he was going to go in for some tank-pitching  :D

Another tale minion for Frau Totenkinder...

Herr Hans Hossenfeffer & Schildkröte.

Fast and agile, Hans is a rabbit to be feared on the battlefield, raining high velocity destruction.  Hard to understand, but the turtle always seems to be caught up with him, or one step ahead, providing cover for the long eared commando.

Herr Hans Hossenfeffer & Schildkröte.

Took some time to hunt down what hossenfeffer (rabbit stew) was. http://recipes.amryal.com/recipe/Meat%20Dishes/Rabbit/Hossenfeffer%20%28rabbit%29.htm

Originally, I thought it had to be some reference to German jazz...

Does Secrets allow for heavy armor ever?  I don't think I have seen anything larger then a light tank from everyone's battle reports online.  Would be a shame not to have some Panthers, Pershings, Stalins or Tigers on the game board.

Brian

Yes, SOTR does allow the use of heavy armor. The problem is trying to field such units in a 50/55 pt game list. You will have to sacrifice troop numbers, and or units, for one large vehicle. Then again, it IS pretty cool to have a Panther F supported by werewolves fighting a JS III and zombies!  :-*

Yes, SOTR does allow the use of heavy armor. The problem is trying to field such units in a 50/55 pt game list.

To expand on this, games typically go one of two ways:
1) Your Big Tank dies turn 1, your opponents army crushes your Big Tank cheerleaders
2) Your Big Tank crushes your opponents with your cheerleaders cheering it on.

So, as FATROC alluded, solutions would be:
1) Each of you take a Big Tank for a Big Tank Duel
2) Play larger games where a Big Tank is a smaller percentage of the overall force

That's a great model with a great paint job.  Where did you get him?

I second that, where did your killer rabbit come from? I'd love to pick one up!

Thanks for the feedback all  :D
Glad to see so many getting a smile out of them- I've really enjoyed this project too, it's been fun finding various minis to be fable agents and make something a bit different than German armies tend to be in the weird war setting.

Yes, the rabbit is shooting carrots  ;D  I didn't notice it at first- the paint job on the seller website had the ammo looking more red, so it was a pleasant surprise to me to find the ammo was carrots not big bullets. It's from Ammon miniatures.
http://ammon-miniatures.com/portail/
and the turtle is a RAFM mini.  The rabbit is supposed to attach to the base by the ammo belt- but I knew that was just asking for trouble with a mini I plan to game with, since it's resin.  it'll still be delicate, but the way I attached it to the turtle might give it a chance to survive transport and games.

-don't know anything about SOTR, but the rules we use for vehicles sound about as much of a coin toss: any vehicle can be taken out with one hit, but the better your armor (and weaker the attacker's shot) the better chance you have, but even a light tank with thin armor can survive if it makes a lucky armor save... I've had all my heavy vehicles taken out before they get a shot off but I've also have a little panzer I survive 4 direct hits, so you never know.  vehicles are fun, so I field them even if the safer bet is more anti-tank weapons in infantry squads and less vehicles. Not to say I don't enjoy having baby bear grab hold of an enemy tank and hurl it through the air: that's an unparalleled joy  lol
