Nice work Scott! I've got an old Ral Partha gorilla that I've lined up for the same purpose. Even my old Citadel Barbarians dwarf him, but to the Copplestones, he is a giant menace... :)

I'm buying the new lot ASAP! Too good to resist. My 28mms are headed out the door, and 15s are taking their place.

Thanks! Here's hoping he does some more D&D types.  I like the Hyborian stuff, but I also likes me some D&D brand fantasy, so the more the merrier when it comes to that!  You listening, Mr. Copplestone?

BTW, anybody got recommendations for nice villagers/townsfolk in 15mm?

Having just had a quick e-mail exchange with Mr. Copplestone, I think he's going for a Fantasy Britain, "Worms of the Earth" (R.E. Howard) style series of releases.  He did not completely rule-out dungeons stuff, but I think he's got a spate of very cool releases planned before getting to any of that.

Just an FYI!

Fourcolors,

Just curious if you are in contact with Mark.  Is there any chance these will be available in 28mm as well?  I have a huge 28mm grenadier barbarian collection he did, and would love to add on to them.  Probably out of the question though I am guessing.

We just had a brief exchange on the 15mm stuff and what his plans were.  He is a very amiable guy--I'd suggest using his contact form and sending him a query about future 28mm stuff.

Got a reply from Mr. Copplestone.  Sadly no plans to turn the 15mm barbarians into 28mm.  He did say he plans to expand the 28mm dark future range, as well as a fantasy range.  So I will be waiting for these.

Yeah, by the sounds of it we may see multiple types of fantasy barbarians by the time he's done.

Eli,

Just wondering if there were any other tidbits to your exchanges about this line that have not been mentioned?  How many factions we talking here, and any sort of time line?

Nothing overly specific, I'm afraid. Besides, these things have a tendency to evolve and change as the project continues.

I'd hate to tip a hand that's not mine to tip.
