« on: October 06, 2011, 04:50:48 PM »
I'm planning on starting a Grymn/ Beastie skirmish game for my kids to play.
Anyway heres a couple of the characters

Trooper Beth

Trooper F. Draco
Any suggestions for rules systems would be appreciated.
Cheers B.F. :)

Depending on the size game you want, look at Firefight 2.0 from Alternative Armies for skirmishes up to maybe 16 per side, or 5150 Star Army from Two Hour Wargames for something a bit more complex.

Great looking figures, love the painting.
May I ask who made the figures?

You should adapt AKKy's arse rules, simple yet entertaining enough to keep your kids interested, and not bog them down too much. (how old are they?)
Nice painting :D

Lovely painting as eer mate, still the same style as your SOTR stuff, which is very nice and always a pleasure to look at. A version of Matt's rules for a previous salute had alien invaders, (a bit half-life like half-bothered ;)). That might work. I've found a simple Aliens/colonial marines ruleset that I can email you if you like, (drop me a PM).

There are others out there but can't remember what they're called, I'll check later.
