Sarissa Precision scale query
« on: October 14, 2011, 01:39:47 PM »
Hi people,
I'm seriously interested in Sarissa's lovely Wild West Buildings esp. since they added the adobe stuff, livery, rail station etc but need to know how well they scale up to Foundry, Artizan and Westwind mini's, bearing in mind mine are all pased on 1pence coins. A pic of a model from one of these manufacturers next to a doorway from their 28mm range would be seriously helpful.
Many thanks in advance.
Cholly

Hey Cholly, they had a thread on here a while back with some comparison shots. They have two scales 28mm & heroic (the main diffrence being the doors/windows are a little larger on heroic). I think they both look fine w/ Artizan, etc... I have been looking into them as well since they seem to make a good looking & well priced product! For me I'm going with the "Heroic" but I base on 25mm slotta-bases which make you adjust for height much more than coins  :?.

This is a good short review w/ some photos (I don't think it links, sorry. You can cut & paste  ;)). I also e-mailed the guys at Sarissa & they advised me that they are also working on walkways & other odds & ends which kinda sealed the deal for me.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

I wish you hadn't shown me all those new buildings, I thought that I was only waiting for the warehouse.  >:(

I have the majority of their stuff. I use Artizan based on 2p coins. I had the original range to start with but then swapped all the fronts with Sarissa for the heroic versions as I felt they looked better. I'll see if I can get a photo up over the weekend.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Are these building compatable with Arnica, Old Glory, Armourcast and Miniature Building Authority?
Never tell me the odds.
