Another pair for my Gladiator game, also made a "giant barbarian" conversion out of a Reaper Ghoul which will serve as a "boss fight".

Converted from a Reaper Miniatures "Ghast" he will serve as a tough "boss fight" champion for my WH:H Gladiator campaign.

Really nice miniatures and great report.

Are the Crusader gladiators compatible with Foundry ones ?
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

Not sure, I only bought stuff from Crusader since this was my first time buying Gladiators and I have no idea how well different ranges blend. I did however notice that some of the Crusader packs are slightly smaller in size than the rest. The Maximus blister as well as the condemned men being slightly smaller.

From CrusaderMiniatures, slightly smaller than the rest of the range though for some reason. I added the shield because he looked a bit plain without one.

Anatoli,
Damm, you are making it harder and harder not to dig out my unpainted gladiators and start painting.
Have all the Foundry packs plus a few others.
Love the Spaniard.

Thanks, this project fits me quite well at the moment due to the lack of painting time. Every model finished is actually worth something which is quite rare even in skirmish games  :)

A very light class Gladiator, the Diamachaerus is fighting with dual Gladius swords. Twice the attacks and better initiative value than most other Gladiators his main tradeoff is lack of decent armor.

Some nice figures there, Anatoli!

The Reaper Ghast is my favourite.
I cant help thinking some of them would be improved by replacing their legs for some larger scale limbs.
This guy for example;

and this one;

are both great from the waist up, but look very out of proportion below that.

Just my two penneth..........
