Zombies of Mora Tau
« on: October 27, 2011, 01:00:43 AM »

I caught a bit of this on TV yesterday and other than some truly wooden acting it has all the makings of a brilliant game session. Underwater zombies, divers in old fashioned diving helmets, and cursed diamonds.

Reaper has a pretty good diver mini:

Can anyone suggest others with this style of helmet?

Wow, even that trailer is incredibly wooden and terrible - but what an awesome pulptastic premise!

In 28mm, Tiger Miniatures carries the ex-HLBS helmeted divers, with a variety of weapons/equipment. Recreational Conflict carries Tiger's in the US. Never seen them in person, but I've heard they're nice figures.

Zombies there's no shortage of, although Brigade's Haitian zombi figures come to mind.

Thanks for the heads up on those minis. I'll probably pick up their mounties as well.

I'm starting to formulate a Mora Tau demo game with both underwater and ship fighting. I'll add it to my million year long "to do" list.

Awesome, can't wait!

This should really be moved over to Pulp, though.
