Those look absolutely fantastic, I can only hope mine look half that good when they are painted. The striped pants are particularly effective, as ar ethe realistic colours you've used. I have always liked how Redbox minis have realistic weapons; no buster swords to be found!

"Kutchek! It is I, Gore, your brutha!" ;)

Very nice and understated, but well-defined painting. I like the sinewy effect on the skin.

Lovely painting and really like the photo set up.

Are they 28's as they look a little large?
I've wondered the same.

I found the ones I've got in the past to be true 28's ,more along the lines of hasslefree.Lovely work! :-*

I had a set of RB dwarves, and they were just gorgeous  :o, and far too small to fit with any of my other stuff  :'(.

Folk usually complain that they're too small!
If I remember correctly the chap on the left is a touch larger but yes they're defiantly 28's for the most part even if Tre calls them 32mm ;D

Thanks chaps :D

Fantasy has always been my true love (Lord of the Rings et al when I was a boy).......So a new thread I think, keeps me motivated  ;)

I love Tre's sculpts, old school done in an modern context, and he is a great bloke to deal with.

 Cheers

Yep, true 28s they be.  Tre has based his Elves and Dwarves on old-school D&D conventions too, with the former being about a head  shorter than humans and the latter about half the size (so, yes, pretty tiny!)!  They don't mix too well with most other manufacturers whose '28mm' wares are actually more like 32mm, but that hasn't stopped me from collecting them.

Excellent paintjobs: very gritty and 'real'!  I'd love to see more  :D.

Wonderful stuff.  One question what are they like scalewise?  Would they look out of place in amoungst GW marauders for example other than the fact they are far superior looking models of course?

A little small maybe? I'd put them on a slightly elevated slotta base, the anatomy is much better (even on the muscle chaps),may look odd alongside  the marauders?
I could do a comparison pic however my GW chaos is all OOP ;) and closer to 28s than now.
      Thanks Mr Dee ;)

  Cheers
