20mm Weird War II - The 42nd (Heavy) Infantry Regiment

The 42nd (Heavy) Infantry Regiment 'The Black Watch'.

The 42nd are one of the premier combat units of the 88th Army. The troops below are wearing MKIII 'Cromwell' battlesuits in 'temperate green' camouflage. The 88th Army symbol can be seen worn on the right side of the helmet and again on the chest plate

Full Heavy Infantry Combat Platoon.

Assault Team - Armed with the British Rifle Empire Number 303 (nicknamed the Bren by the troops), a 'Harvester' automatic shotgun for trench clearance and trooper carrying a 'Havelock' disposable Anti-Tank missile.

Fire Team - Three troopers in the fire team carry Sterling Scoped Assault Rifles, a Vickers Rotary Drum Light Machine Gun is carried by the fourth squad member, while the final two members carry the 'Hatchet' grenade launcher and the 'Challenger' Anti-Tank weapons system.

Support Team - The 'Bulldog' all-terrain mobile weapons platform, seen here equipped with two Vickers 'Minotaur' pattern heavy machine guns with HE & AP projectile selection and its controller. These weapons system negate the need for troops to be deployed in the fire support teams.

Really really nice stuff.  Should match in nicely with the CP Models Neu Heer range
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....
