I like them... A LOT!

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Wow thanks everyone for all of your generous comments.

I am actually half way through painting the army. The next release will be a Halfling Witch Hunter unit which is looking to be my best unit yet (halfway through the last 3 halflings of this) and very suited to Mordheim......might have pics in a few weeks.

The evil halfling unit is made up of halfling vampires, skeletons, witches, chaos knights, zombies, devils, chaos priests etc .....basically they run amok in the Moot but when outside threats come they rally and fight side by side with their halfling Brethren.

Other units yet to be painted include halfling miltia (2x units), another halfling men-at-arms unit, drunken halfling Beserkers (this should be a doosey), halfling Royal guard (the newer Warhammer landsknecht styled halfings), halfling hot pot, mounted halfling knight and a halfling dragon rider (by reaper). I will also most likely have a unit made up of a bish bosh of random halflings with no real theme from various makes.

The majority of the army so far is made up of C11 post and pre slotta halflings of which I have the complete set baring this ugly guy

So far the collection consist of a mixture between Citadel old C11 and newer warhammer  halflings, Bob Olley Essex halflings, Heresy, Hasselfree, Reaper, Red Box Games, Harlequin, Ral Partha, Mirliton, Mega Minis.

Down the track I also plan to expand the army with Warploque halflings, Black Hat halflings, White Knights halflings/goblins and 4-A's future halflings.

I’ve even considered getting some mounted Halfling paladins sculpted as there is a severe lack of Halfling cavalry.

Love Love Love your stuff! Glad to see you've gotten to your senses and joined the true miniatures nerd nirvana.

I do hate though that your army would be so difficult $$$ to replicate  :-[
Love the paint style, and am trying to integrate it more into my own style.
WHAT do you mean I lost!!! I had MORE fun!

Well, before you commit to that, if it's of any interest, I will be doing those as well. ;)

Nice work on a very unusual army. I'd hate to have to feed that army.  lol
Looking forward to seeing more.

Really? I am intrigued.....are they currently being scuplted up or is it a future plan? Will they be similair to your dwarf riders?

I always invisioned a version similair to the pic below but fatter and with oversized armour.

Well, some test pieces are being sculpted, but it will depend on the result whether they go in production or get scrapped and redone at a later point. It's a different sculptor than the dwarfs. Concept is still multipart figures. The first ones will have little in the way of armour, but knights may be added if sales warrant it.

Well sounds good to me, keep me posted and I expect first access to the preview pics.

I knew that there was a reason I kept this photo.

Back from the dead, almost.
