Very tired but had a great time, thanks everyone!

Not keen on those close-ups of the Deadlands board, it makes the colours look all washed out. The long shots of the whole board look much better :)
So many projects..... so little time.......

Though the concept and effect look great.

Thank you, it does the job well. I may need to try some more washes to give the rubble on the floor a bit more definition, although it does look better in person.

After much travelling, I'm finally back from BLAM.

Excellent weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you to everyone for making the weekend such an enjoyable event. I'm pleased to report it was all good humoured banter and great games with excellent people.

I'd also like to thank everyone whose game I played, they where fantastic. I'd like to appologise to everyone whose game i never got a chance to play, they all looked fantastic!

See you next year
Cheers
Andy

Totally agree - brilliant.
So many ingenious, beautiful, enjoyable and thrilling games. The sheer amount of ambition, panache, creativity and craftsmanship in a dozen or so smallish games at this event would put many mainstream wargames shows to shame. And great to meet up with 30 or so LAFers from across the UK and Germany (and Denmark!) for some great gaming, great company, and quite a lot of ale.
What's not to like? ;)

Thanks to those whose games I played in. All very much enjoyed - Oldskoolrebel's hilarious werewolf hunt in the Highlands, Dodge's excellent RCW game using Triumph & Tragedy, Silent Invader's superb Alien encounter. I even enjoyed Dewbakuk's Deadlands tunnels game, despite being beset by zombies (!!!) and ruthlessly hunted and eliminated by the evil and remorseless SvennnDHnutt  >:(  ;)  :D

I've posted a report on Silent Invader's Aliens game here http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=34770.0
- meanwhile, here's a taster...

Dean I loved the colour of the board looked great :-* :-* :-*
A lot better than my travel worn boards.

Thanks again gents for a cracking, inspirational weekend.
Every game I played was great stuff and sent me home with loads of ideas for my own games, well if fact far to many lol
We spent our whole 8 old hour journey up the road talking about what games we want to do for next year.
Will post the pictures I have taken when I have a bit more time. Off to bed now I am knackered and unlike some I have to be up to go to work at 5.15am. :'(

Thank you everyone for a great weekend. I wish I could have played more games, but thorough;ly enjoyed the ones I got to play. The standard of the games improves every year and is a true testament of what this forum is all about.

I have put a batrep of the epic production that was Captain Blood's and Malamute's pirate game in the swashbuckling section.  There's a link below but BE WARNED.... it has 35 images.

In all respects, a top-notch game.  8)

Some outstanding games there! But the submarine adventures are just the best I have seen in yonks*.

Some names to faces would be nice. I recognise Malamute's pate but who are the other lucky guys participating?

(*first time I have used the word "yonks" in...well...yonks)

Apologies for the lack of captions, I was a little too eager to get back to the games. That said I plan to go through the photos I took for a closer look and post them somewhere for people to go over and provide a little more information to go with them, as appropriate.

I had a great time on Saturday, thanks to everyone who played my t&t game Gordy and I had a great time and you were all so patient when I forgot the rules too 8)

The Aquanauts game was great to play in not a game I would usually play as you could tell when I lasted only 20 mins  :? trhat nemo sub was a feisty little sucker

Looking at the 7tv board I was truly in awe of all of the little bond villain bits and pieces looked fantastic

Matakishis conan looked great and I wish I had played maybe another time

the pirates was a truly magnificent piece and watching that was so much fun poor poor Torben, but at least he managed to get a game of Aquanauts in  8)

You do realise that I'm now sold on your 7tv rules? Damn you! Got a few game ideas using your rules, and surprisingly they don't centre around spy action.

Phew at least I'v got a birthday soon.

Cheers
Andy
