Naran Future Wars: Argos Infantry vs Drakonians
« on: November 28, 2011, 06:03:21 PM »
Hi,
we played another of our fun battles of Naran Future Wars. For the occasion we have used the shield generator model I made, taking inspiration from what you see in the movie "Star Wars 5 - The Empire Strikes Back." This "shield generator" has become the target of the raid by the Drakonians Pirates (aka dark elves) against a base of the Galactic Empire of Argos, defended by a contingent of Space Infantry.
The match ended in a draw.
You can see the images on this page of our website:

and these are some of the images:

good vision and good fun

Looks like you had a good time.
Like your Dark Elves.
Did you make or purchase the spike like terrain, looks neat?

He,
many thanks for your compliment!
About the spikes: I've built them myself:
I have used pieces of styrofoam (I hope this may be the correct translation - in italian: polistirolo espanso).
Of this I cut some pieces from sheet of the above material, giving them the
pointed shape, then I covered them with a  mixture of powder plaster for walls (putty? in italian: stucco in polvere per muri), glue and water.
Bye,
