Impressive collection of shanties, I've been considering a similar project. Thanks for posting.

Lovely :)
Strangely enough it reminds me of the urban fire range at Singleton... Needs a bit more height though, and barricades. And this is Necromunda, so more walkways are a must! :P

This is designed as a stand-alone board for a Necro tournie I'm running so, contrary to every other board, it'll be dense and built-up, rather than tall. Additionally, about 90% of the shanties aren't really Necromunda-specific so can be used in anything from Pulp to Modern to Post-Apoc.

I also have a lot of stand-alone fences/barricades and walkways, which I'll post pics of at some point.

It should also be set way back in the middle of a field.  :D

I'm finally finished with work on the shanty town and wanted to post pics of the finished pieces before painting and small details. I mentioned how they were built in my previous post so I won't re-hash that here.

More info and MUCH more pics here

They look great.
Like all the bits you put on them.
Can't wait to see them painted.
(So I can steal your ideas.)  lol

Well, it's not as nice as I wanted it to be but for a few days work (total), I think it makes a fairly nice board. Mostly, I'm frustrated by the fact that the weathered wood tutorial I found online do NOT work the way the author pictured (which is why much of the wooden pieces appear white-washed, rather than weathered).
