necromunda terrain: bulkheads + plasticard (project log)
« on: November 13, 2011, 03:19:45 AM »
The plan is to eventually do the complete set of necromunda terrain from the core box set and possibly outlanders.
This was the first "test piece", the tunnel entrance from the necromunda boxed set.

I've been planning to do this as part of my Necromunda project (see my Blog)! I will shamelessly rip off your good ideas as they come! :)

Nice :)
I love the beaten up edges on the plasticard.

Is that Plasticard or Foamed PVC? From the Edges I'd say the latter. I swear by that stuff now.

Thanks for the encouragment.

Achilles:  It's plasticard, I used superglue + baking soda as a gap filler.  It's cheap enough and easy to file and cut.

I remember playing on tables with the cardboard stuff. With a little imagination and some Volkswagon parts you can go a bit further:

Hopefully some more pictures in a couple days.  I had to wait for my order of plasticard to come in.  Working on the "square" building (the 2 level one with the square bit in the center)
