Just... AMAZING!  :o  :-*

You have achieved a MARVELOUS Cost-Effort-Time-Result ratio, and obtained a WW town anybody should be proud to own and play with.

Oh! and your building steps are very useful too!

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Your town is coming on very nice, and the time spent doing it is rather impressive, even though it seems like you have cut some corners when it comes to details and scale in favour of getting a load of houses finished fast.

In all honesty I was never overly concerned about getting the scale accurate, I just sort of eyeballed and estimated everything...yes, getting the town done so I could stage a respectable battle as soon as possible was the main goal (well, that and having fun :)).

Hehe, hence I cant really stand the Sarissa buildings :-)

I got to tell you this much though, I would have loved to bring my cowboys around for a good fight in this town of yours, any day!

While., popsicle sticks may not be everyones cup of tea, I really like what you have built.
Would love to play a game with them.
Look forward to seeing them painted.
One question, how long did it take to eat all those popsicles. (Sorry had to ask.) :D

Great work, very inspiring!

Some questions: What do you you use to clip the popsicle sticks, and did you have any trouble with splitting, etc. while cutting?

GREAT JOB!!!!!!! Thinking maybe to give it a try. At least one building.
Are Sarissa building really that bad? I was thinking of getting some.
Would the match up with Arnica buildings? I was going more toward the Hroic scale.
Never tell me the odds.

I made a house once using a utility knife to cut popsicle sticks and my hand was sore for weeks...so I knew I had to come up with something else.  I figured that trees are easy to trim with pruning sheets, so I figured some kind of clippers with some torque would be good.  I went to the hardware store and found some heavy duty sheet metal clippers...work like a charm.

Brilliant! I have some tin snips hanging on the wall of my garage begging to be put to such a purpose.  Thanks for sharing this project!

Well, here are some painted shots...funny thing, I'm not sure if I like Westwood painted better than when it was just raw popsicle sticks.  Maybe I should have just given them a light coat of stain?  Oh well.
