To answer the question about the monsters, this project is still in the planning stage, so I haven't started looking yet.  I know that Wargames Factory does a set of Skeletons which I will get.  I was thikning along the lines ,  The Minotour, Medusa, Harpies, etc. to oppose the Heroes.
That for all the input guys.  So I guess I will be going after the Classical look.

When I painted up Steve Saleh's Argonauts, eight years ago (good heavens!), I restricted my palette to white, terracotta and black, other than natural colours, to get the vase-painting feel.



Terrible painting, but I still like the colour scheme.
