These are from Eureka miniatures in Austraila. They are called the  Hardlove Light Steam Charger

This is where I got mine and I'm pretty sure they still make them.

Dont think you will find cheaper exact ones however

Alternatives are Ironclad miniatures steam tanks which are nice bits of kit

I'd love a couple of those tanks too, and I've considered ordering from Fighting 15s on a number of occasions,
but the 8 or more weeks wait... :(.
Maybe one day.
It certainly is a lovely little tank,  :)

I contacted Jon of GZG about this model a while ago.  When he stopped doing 25mm vehicles in resin and sold the rights on, this model wasn't included in the package.  So at the moment it's in limbo, since GZG no longer have the facilities to produce resin vehicles.

I was surprised to see Eureka still producing it in metal.  Way overpriced though, IMHO.

For an alternative, Ramshackle Games' Liger tank seems similar in size and general style, if a little less boxy.

Dr V, from memory the body and track sections are resin. The driver, smoke stack and guns are metal.

Cheers,

Barry

@DrVesuvius - thanks for the Ramshackle suggestion. £7 seems a very reasonable price, but, while its a very nice tank, I think it looks a bit too modern for me.
And the Hardlove Light Steam Charger does have a certain "charm",  :)
Its a shame GZG no longer produce it in the UK. I wonder if they could be convinced theres a market for it. Or if somebody else in the UK could be convinced to acquire the rights?

As were my GZG ones.  in which case Yikes!  £16.75 for a resin vehicle that small is way, way, way overpriced.

Well based on my correspondence with Jon Tuffley over this, I'm under the impression that he's completely given up production of resin vehicles, and no longer has the capability to produce this model if he wanted to.  That said, I also got the impression that he'd be open to ideas if there was a market for it.  Funny he never mentioned Eureka producing it under license.  I wonder if he's forgotten the deal?

ok, I couldn't find anything about this via google, so I guess it is a spelling error?

Or what is Black Bryamind Gaming? You peaked my interest.

Edit: I guess it is Black Pyramid Gaming, but their page is not available to me since my virus scanner blocks it, but I did find a few steam tank pics through google image search.
