Would Pig Iron heads fit 40k IG and Chaos Marine bodies?

Does anyone know if the rebel, militia and feral heads are any good for use on GW Imperial Guard or Chaos Space Marine bodies?

Yes.  I have seen many Imperial Guard conversions using Pig Iron heads and they work really well.

They also work with Tau and Space Marine Scouts.

the odd one or two may need a bit of GS around the neck joint, if you look on the pig iron blog theres a few examples of IG with their heads

The Feral ones are a bit small for Chaos Space Marines, you do need to make a green stuff neck.  There are some other companies out there that are even more obviously making heroic 28mm bits to use with GW product.  I've collected links to many of them:
