Planning the 2012 releases...
« on: December 04, 2011, 10:44:09 AM »
Hi everybody,

as said in the British TM topic, I am planning for 2012 right now.
The Soviet TM is under way, I will even included some Aerosans and more Lend-Lease vehicles.
 ::)
Gear Krieg is also in the works. I will ask about suggestions later.

So, what to do next?
Please let some free thinking and ideas fly around.
Later this month I will then run a Poll to see what is tackled next...
 :)
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

 ;)

well, for starters some area specific Manuals would be great (Desert and Pacific War)

besides that ;

more Field Manuals (Italians, Finns etc.), maybe French or Polish for Early War

oh, and the occasional Field Guide (e.g. Army List) would be welcome too.

But to get something other than World War II:

Weird War
something Post-Apocalyptic (would be very interested with what Background Story you could came up  :D)

oh, well and Gear Krieg (about time I should be looking into it)

But regardless of what comes, I ám absolutely sure to get top notch work presented!

Volksturm FG
Fall Weiss/early Polish FG/TM

I'd like to see Late Northern Europe / East Front finished up with thier Gear Krieg rules then the Pacific / Theatres (ie: North Africa, Burma, etc), early war would be interesting but since I rarely play it its low on my personal want list ;)

Operational supplements for specific campaigns would be cool as well (ie: Bagration, Cobra, etc)

In addition to the WW2 items, I would love to see a Vietnam version of the game, as well as a modern book.

Hmm Vietnam will take some time.

When doing "modern", what period is the most interesting?
The term is used for a lot of conflicts... Czechen Wars, Middle East, Afghanistan, Iracq???
IMO one books would just not cover it.

If doing moderns I would like to do conflict specific books.

Good Idea, maybe you should look, which miniatures are avaible for modern periodes.

IMO the modern period is pretty well supported in 6mm, 15mm, 20mm and 28mm.
But I am always taking a closer look on what is available before starting anything...

Take a complete departure,

Go for Lace Punk type game set in 18th century almost a gothic horror type game, you can then look at all manner of gribblies such as Brotherhood of the wolf, that sort of thing. I think it could be the next genre on the horizon

 Maybe for a modern setting a core book with the rules and some sample armies, and then bring out conflict books dedicated to different wars such as Afghanistan etc.?

Sorry, I have to be more concret: In 28mm are not all things avaible.  ;)

I also vote for vietnam. But there is a lot of WWII-Stuff open, isn't it????
