These look really good, though I would love to see more modern style 15mm buildings. Theres plenty of adobe style but not much moderns.

My five buildings arrived this morning...unfortunately I am heading away from home for work for a week so wont be able to assemble and review until I get back next weekend.  First impressions are that they are really cool.  Can't wait to get stuck into them.

Looks great.
What did you use to paint them. I have a couple but am not sure how to paint them. I figured the paint would cover all the detail.
Never tell me the odds.

You can see a couple of the bottles on the edge of the first picture.

Did you thin out the paint?

I did not thin out the paint for this buiding.   I do thin it out for painting almost everything else but was worried that if thinned it may cause the wood to warp.   Actually, I painted the red parts around the windows and the door frame before I glued them on, and the vertical 'legs' of the door frame did warp with just the paint.

Mine are all built. I'll have to give it a go. I have the out houses. I'll try it on one of those first. Did you or are you going to dull/matte coat them?

I am going to dull coat them, but have not done so yet.  I'm going to wait until I have all three of the buildings finished.   I should get #2 done in the next couple of days, but #3, the livery stable, still needs stalls built before I can do it.   I have a hay loft/second story done but want some basic stalls on the ground floor.  I got some O scale hay bales and feed sacks for it from:

Thanks for the link. I'm on a toss up for my Livery. The wife like the one from Sarissa better. My next order I think I'll get the Corral. Post pics when you finish.

I have just assembled my two storied building with balconey. Very nice model.  One suggestion though - the back from the false front is not etched to show boards.  I am just going to glue some balsa on, but would be nice if the back vould be laser etched as well.
