What a wonderful looking game, Nick, and a really good reportage too. Lovely to see so many of Matt's figures so well painted and deployed on excellent scenery! Happy Christmas!

What a great early Xmas present for all of us, LAF readers.
Even if we can't read, we can look at many beautiful photos.
Thank you.
I know every thing in Texas is bigger( at least they claim they are.)
But that pine tree is one big terrain piece. lol
Merry Christmas.

Great collection of miniatures. Fantastic terrain and a nice report. Good read for me after the dog walk and breakfast on a Sunday morning. Just brilliant.
Your Christmas tree looks nice too. We don t even have one. You remind me that I have to go and buy one very soon.
What I do not like are those plastic movement trays. Please, please, please  remove them Nick !  :)
Cheers

great looking battle report, and genuinely one of the best battle fields and figure collections I have seen posted on LAF for quite some time. Well done, and thank you.

Well, I suppose I'll have a quick look in the Old West board. Never really much in there, though. It's not like they ever play anything above skirmish level.

Oh, golly.  :-*

Fantastic stuff. I see the wargames potential of North America in the nineteenth century in a whole new light...

I have a very disturbing image in my head from the movie Vera Cruz, where those lance-wielding dragoons kill a revolutionary, slowly closing on him with their lances, finally impaling him. Watched it on German television when I was very young... never could forget it.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
