Miss Scarlet

Professor Plum

Mrs. Peacock

Colonel Mustard

Inspector Grey

The Black Dog

Figures were sculpted by Mark Copplestone for the “Cluedo Super Sleuth” game issued in 1995.  Turns up regularly on Ebay – where I got mine.

Great work you've done on them, I assume they are plastic?

No, they're pewter, they take a bit of painting as the undercoat doesn't stay on as well.  These look better than mine, though................

I bet a set just for the figures, they are a little bigger than the normal 28mm.

...they take a bit of painting as the undercoat doesn't stay on as well...

I used a primer first.

"International Special Metal Primer."

(In fact, I now prime all of my metal figures before undercoating.)

I have that cluedo edition, mines look like ink washed and very glossy, don't know if they are like this or if previous owner did something.
Do you stripped them before to apply the primmer?

Nice job on those, Orctrader: good choices of colours that match the name but don't look unreal.

But ... Hogarth the butler?  Inspector Grey?  The Black Dog?  Who?  ??? ???

(And what sort of colour is "Hogarth", anyway?  lol )

Superb!

I've been after those for years after Overlord showed me a cast of Miss Scarlet that he'd picked up in EM4's bargain bin!

Apparently Doug does have the moulds somewhere and has promised to cast them at some stage.

If anybody has a set (or even individual figures) they'd be willing to sell, then do let me know :)

Brilliant idea and wonderfully executed
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Thanks chaps, glad you like them.   :)

Do you stripped them before to apply the primmer?

Ink wash, 15 years old, that's how they come.  Left mine in Dettol for a week.  You have to get this off as it's pooled in the recesses.

But ... Hogarth the butler?  Inspector Grey?  The Black Dog?  Who?  ??? ???

Inspector Grey
Super Sleuth: The inspector is a non-playable character that blocks spaces.
Hogarth
Super Sleuth: Hogarth is the butler and is a non-playable character that blocks spaces.
The Black Dog
Super Sleuth: A large breed of dog is a non-playable character that blocks spaces.

And what sort of colour is "Hogarth", anyway?

Black.  Butlers always wear black   ::)
