Size-wise, how do Malifaux miniatures compare?

Hello all,

I saw this miniature, and immediately wanted to order to use for playing strange aeons.

However, I'm a bit concerned about the size discrepancy...

Had anyone compared SA miniatures and Malifaux miniatures?

Not sure if they've fixed this with more recent releases, but I know I found the first few waves of Malifaux figures extremely inconsistent in terms of scale - anything from true 25mm to 30+.  So at least with those early models, you have to judge the line on a figure-by-figure basis.

I have found Malifaux is great for monsters & such but their "people" minis run a little large compared to say Foundry or Artizan if that helps.
