NO!  Not the Fluffy Pillow!!! ...anything but that!    lol

Classic...your red is WONDERFUL!

Cheers,

Blue

Thanks pal

The two things I like about this piece are the correct attributes, the bus stop sign and the great painting.

Three!! Three things I like about your work there are the pillows, the scroll, the sign and the obvious element of surprise it possesses.

DOH!! I'll come in again...
[DRAMATIC CHORD]

Hahaah!!

No really; since the first time I saw those miniatures over at Victoria Lamb's site, I knew I had to have them!

You've done them proud; the painting is excellent, the setting is just right, and (through the sculpting in addition to your painting skills of course), I have to say the faces are just that bit cartoony, but still recognizable as the Monty Python actors.

In short; I love it! 8)

Now for a comfy chair...  :D

haha that made me laugh out loud in the office.  Brilliant

Fantastic post!
Just when I was happy with my red recipes I see a better example. Any way you'd post how you did the reds?
"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

Best mini likenesses to a real person I've seen in LONG time, especially that Terry Gilliam as Fang.

Thanks guys appreciate the kind words

Sure, basecoat with a dark brown I used vallejo game colour charred brown and then layer up using reaper master series carnage red and then layer up with reaper master series magma red (sparingly) taking into account light.   reaper colours can be subbed with vallejo game colour gory red and vallejo game colour bloody red or equivelants thereof I am just now used to reaper paints, sadly not readily available in the UK

Wonderful. I think I need to get these figures.
I've seen them before but seeing them like this I can envision them in a game setting.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.
