Original Crissy Hot-Rod Zombie Killer Mini
« on: December 20, 2011, 12:19:27 AM »
While we're working on the new version of Zombie Plague I thought you might like to see the original Crissy Hot-Rod miniature as painted by Maestra Marike Reimer. The new version of Crissy should be available by March 2012.

Nice but a little too bubblegum for me, be good to see it in the metal not painted. Also a little more chunky than the concept art???

This sculpt is over ten years old. I don't think that the sculptor had art to work from, maybe just I quick sketch that I did. The new one will be much less cartoony. I just posted this here as a curiosity and to brag that I own a Marike Reimer painted miniature. :D

quite "buoyant" on the left side.  lol

10 years old or not, I'd still take one.

Ok just aware of your funding project and put two and tow together, good to here less cartoony on the next one, just don't do that whole manga, knees slightly together as if needing a pee, pose that female characters often have... make em look weak.

"Buoyant" indeed. I've always joked that she just struck the pose and was still settling.

And we're going to avoid the "gotta pee" poses as much as possible for Crissy. Chelsea will do them occasionally because she's obsessed with anime and The Cult of Cute. But once she gets her saw she turns into Conan. (The Barbarian not the talk show host.)

Who sculpted the original? Where can I get one? What the hell did I miss? lol

Looks very much like the sculptor for the China Town range that I'm so obsessed with! Love to get one...
