Little Hobbits - New Camera Better Pictures
« on: December 20, 2011, 10:11:40 PM »
I painted this pair of Copplestone hobbits for a fellow forum member and was very happy with them until the camera was so unkind to them. I must learn how to take better pictures (and to clean up the loose flock etc ::))

and here they are alongside a WK dwarf as a size comparison

Wow, that dwarf's a giant!

They really are great little figures, excellent for sprites or pixies or something at a more sensible scale.

I can't complain about the painting because that's neater than I paint 28mm figs...

They are from the Copplestone's 10 mm fantasy non LOTR range.
Good job on those Svenn!

I really thought they were 28mm till I scrolled down and saw the HUGE dwarf looming over them.

Nice paint!

At that scale, the paintjob is bloody brilliant!

(and the shot with the giant dwarf is hilarious).

God but those are teeny little Fellows. I find it incredible that you could get such nice results on such tiny minis. VERY WELL DONE!

I have been tempted by that 10 mm line for a very long time, and now also by his 15 mm barbarians... If someone should ever succeed in making me buy non-28s other than 1/72 plastics, it surely will be Mark Copplestone!
