French Navy Uniforms

Can anyone help me?

I am looking for uniform details for officers and sailors of the French Navy towards the end of the 19th century. I particularly need details of rank badges and any other badges worn by ordinary sailors and petty officers.

The French used Sailors in their Boxer Rebellion forces and I managed to find these pics:






Not really much detail, I'm afraid, though you can see the French Officer has what looks like standard naval rank insignia on his sleeves.

The last link of yours has all the information I will need - in particular rank badges for non-officors. Looking at the pictures I should be able to distinguish the senior sailor in my naval unit with a red chevron at te bottom of each sleeve as a quartermaster.
