I think they're supposed to be space elfs, rather than humans, anyway.

The kneeling one is a human woman who looks a little to comfortable in chains, while the other is a Sister of Battle clutching a blade behind her back, which is a nice touch.

The one on the left looks like Joan Crawford, which probably means nothing to anyone under 50. But pretty scary to anyone who knows her work and make-up references.

Knowing about the hidden sword might explain a bit. Not sure what, but it might explain something. Particularly sloppy elf security, for one.

I plan to use plastic Celts, Numidians, Ansar, and Zulus for my slaves.  The bearded heads, bare torsos and makeshift appearance of the pants, tunics, and loin clothes should convey their slave status. 

I wish there were some plastic females, especially if they had clothes on.  I like to keep my minis PG or R rated at most so I can use them with players of all ages.
