Landing Craft 'Abyss'.
« on: December 27, 2011, 02:11:27 PM »
I painted this converted 'Thunderbird 2' (from the live-action movie) yesterday and thought I'd share:

The crew has been finished for ages but I never got around to painting their little 'ship-to-shore' landing craft/dropship until yesterday...just because I had to go into the loft to store something.

There is more info over at Inso's World :).

Lovely.  :)  Really like the colour scheme.

Nice conversion.  Is this the Bandai toy?  WHat was the base toy if you don't mind me asking?
This is my boomstick!

It was a lights and sound, 10 inch long, toy that I got from E-Bay.  I am not sure what company made it, I am afraid.

I know that they are still available on E-Bay because I have a second one on the way (and for the life of me, I don't know why I have bought it...can't quibble at £7-99 though).

Sorry I can't be more help (I just checked the ship and there are no company markings on it).
