Eureka 28mm Rev French Nap Civilians
« on: December 29, 2011, 03:01:47 AM »
I received a small delayed Christmas parcel with some Mayans I wanted to work on for my army, and received these Revolutionary Wars French Civilians as a bonus. The figure on the left is by Alan Marsh and is the chasseur figure from the well vignette, included for scale comparison. I do not know who the sculptor of the civilians are, these are the second lot of figures in this style I have received. While they need some work on the arms and leg definition I really don't mind them, and certainly better than I can do. With more work this sculptor has a lot of promise :) There is a tiny pug faced dog at the feet of the ladies. It lacks sharp detail but should paint well, and has a little ribbon around it's neck with a bow behind its head. Probably wasn't the best background to photo them against either.

any idea when these and the others will be released?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

You'd be better of sending Nic an email about availability. They are sculpted by a French guy and I'm not 100% sure if they are his personal project or to later form official Eureka releases, I assume official but even so they could be along way off formal release. As a collector I just get parcels of random items without any detail on release schedules.
