Aaaand... only the vines are missing, i will add in the afternoon!

meanwhile...

The big island (around page 4 of this thread?) was done more than a year ago, and now it's finally done! i've added a big tree on a side, from where loads of vines will fall to the ocean! ^^

Thanks guys! actually the photo was made with norma lights, so the green shades are kinda offuscated... With the vines on i'll make better photos with a better light!

Why? nefs are 1:1200. that tree is no taller than 1,5 cm, that means 15 meters, which is absolutely normal for a big tall tree!
(and not counting the fact that it is on a floating island

)
The other trees are 2 to 5 meters tall, which is quite normal for smaller trees, since the ground for their roots is limited on rocky islands. That big one had a little more luck, and found a hole full of good soil to grow strong and healthy!

Perhaps a comparison shot with them in situ as it's difficult to gauge sizes from separate photographs

Will do this evening, after i've done the vines all around the isles!

Of course, we have also a deep explanation for the levitation of the islands... but it will be all in the manual.

we are going to release a free demo, and a full color manual with illustrations, photos and background plus all the rules and a few dozen ship cards and a 8 battles scenario on Wargames Vault.
For the date... probably June, but i don't know. I'm the Lazy One, afterall.

AAAAAAAAAAAND after a day of super-secret work, i've also finished a sea table! It's quite a simple project, i will post on my site a tutorial in the following days!

The base is a plastic semi-opaque blue panel, and i've painted dots (yeah, it took a while) and the sea pattern behind the plastic. Then i glued everything on MDF, to make it stronger and avoid scratches.
Well, it's a solid object, and the deep blue contrasts greatly with the green islands!

If i had to do it again i would change a lot of things, but in a day i managed to have a working gaming table!

Jack, was walking through the store with Leviathans tucked under my arm. One of the regulars wanted a look, stating he was fascinated by flying ships. Now that's something I don't hear every day.

Could be the start of a playtest group?
