Late in the Peninsular war the critical supply route through El Valle has been blocked once again by the polyglot forces of perfidious Albion. The French need to seize possession of the mountain valley quickly to keep their supply lines open. The Allies naturally need to secure the valley to cut off this French supply route and secure it for their future advance.
Since I'd lost twice as the British we decided to fight again but swap sides, hence this is the Third battle. We kept the same forces and leader characteristics from before with the exception that I added to errant French battalion to the line up and there were no independent artillery brigades.
The French were still slightly disadvantaged as the forces were equal, and usually the attacker would have more. Since I was in charge of the Emperor's forces I took great cheer from this but on the bright side the French had been successful twice before.
