The Devils Hop Yard AAR
« on: January 08, 2012, 11:16:50 AM »
The first out of 3 games that formed a mini campaign of sorts that I played yesterday. I took charge of the Threshold team while my friend controlled the Lurkers in all 3 scenarios.

In this first scenario, the Devils Hop Yard, the local cultists are performing human sacrifice in order to summon some daemon from another dimension. Each sacrificed cultist is worth 1D6 summoning points, so the cult leader could potentially spawn something quite impressive with a little luck.

Check the full report on my blog. I apologize in advance for the somewhat crappy pictures as the light over at my friends house was really bad in the area of the house where we set up the table.

Threshold characters and cultists are West Wind miniatures, the dog is Uncle Mike's zombie dog patched up with green stuff. The daemon is from EM4 25mm Cthulhu range.

Thanks Mike, it is one of thost statues from "Bag of Cthulhu" that Fantasy Flight Game sells. Highly recommend it to anyone playing Lovecraftian games. You get 6 big Statues and 24 small ones, so it can be easily split between a bunch of friends or gamers  :)

I love your graveyard, especially the varying terrain.  It looks really modular so you can change the layout easily.  I wish I had the room for such a table. :-[
