Gibergjagers - using Warlord plastic German Infantry
« on: January 08, 2012, 05:00:20 PM »
I work a bit for Warlord and I used some of their excellent multipose Germans with some new heads by SHS if I remember rightly to do a set inspired by favourite Airfix set of my youth. I went a bit 'Where Eagles Dare'

Heres the shots (with one of the SS version I did with the same figs)

Oh yes - and there are one or two of Mark Evans excellent figs from his Playwar range in there too. Is he still going? If you are out there Mark get in touch - did you ever get those US figs done?

Those are really neat.  I've got an itch for Gebirgsjager as a compliment to my Fallschirmjager.  Very inspiring!

I have just done a batch of FJ's for a customer using the excellent Offensive figs.

The 251 is my own conversion from an old 1970's corgi diecast (and yes it has one too few road wheels!).

I like them - so I have mastered new road wheels to correct this.

I had to have a educated guess at the FJ vehicle colour scheme though. Prob should have had a WL number plate too!

Thanks for that. The set is in a collectors cabinet in the US now. But well spotted.

I normally check, but must off had a senior moment!
