Thanks for the heads up on the fence, that's a must buy.  Also, cool looking board.

Great use of the old west building.
Those fences were out for a while, but they just got more in a few days ago. And as of this posting they are down to 7 left.

Nice.

What i think is important with all these city board projects, and if i can give you a bit of advice, its complete and consolidate. Get everything painted and finished before you move on, that way, you have working playable areas from the get go, rather than bits of this and that.

Those buildings look nice and are passable unpainted, but again get some paint on them before moving on, never underestimate the effect of a nicely completed gaming table.

Cheers and again good luck.

He had 14, then I bought seven of them for various projects. Get'em while they are hot!

@Joey: Thanks. And I'm glad you like the fences. I've had them sitting in a bitz drawer for quite a while now.

@Papa Spanky: Thanks, and thanks for the update on the fences.

@CDR Vyper: Thanks, and thanks very much for the advice. I've been pouring over your pics on your thread for inspiration and I appreciate and value the advice and encouragement. I am sort of trying to complete a section and move on, what keeps me from "completing" are the interior furnishings. I'm a little torn between fully furnished interiors and interiors with just stairs doors, and interior walls.

@Deathwing: Cool. Thanks for the heads-up.

@Zizi666: Cool. I hope they get more in stock, soon.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I hope to have another update this weekend.

I find the interior issue to be a problem when deciding to go forward with my projects.  Unlike others here, I do not go heavy on the interior props, but they are important.  You have to strike a balance between playability and diorama.  One leads to boring pieces and other means you can't place minis in them.  Unless it's a big piece, I found stairs, posters, trash, and few pieces of furniture hugging the walls to be enough.  Just my 2 cents.

@Deathwing: Thanks. That does sound like a reasonable approach.

Simple suggestion, dont! ;)

All my buildings lack interiors for one reason: speed of gaming mechanics. If people head into the buildings they get placed on the roof with floor marker dice, random encounters and the usual combat can still ensue, so buildings can be used appropriately for hiding, sniping etc.. I just I prefer my focus to be on the street.

@CDR Vyper: Thanks, but my OCD won't let me ignore a playable interior.  ;) And the playable interiors was one of the reasons I chose the Sarissa Precision buildings.

That's why mine are solid, nothing for the OCD to grab onto! ;)

Hi, everybody. I finally finished off the last 2 Sarissa Precision 28mm CityBlock buildings on my blog. These have been a joy to work on. Now all I have to do is paint a bajillion Zombies.  :)

Nice looking buildings. They look very nice painted. I like the signs you made for them as well.

@aggro84: Thanks very much. This was a fun project, the signs kind of became a project all their own.
