You sir, ought to be ashamed.  lol  lol

Yes, quite. Stealing your puns from Frank Zappa like that. (Not something you'd ever catch me doing.)

Great figures. You've inspired me to 'ahem' borrow Khandibar as the setting for my club game I'm putting on next Monday. Since I haven't got as far as painting 400 Mahdists who should be the opposition we are having the forces of Queen Victoria (Gawd Bless 'er) marching across Khandibar to put down an Egyptian/Sudanese garrison with attached Basi Bazouks and Bazingers who are in revolt over no pay and poor working conditions. The garrison is holding the town of Dhoub- el- Decka, close to Khit Khat. We're assuming the Imperial force has already been bloodied at Khit Khat putting down revolting Egyptians there too. If I get a move on a few Mahdists might make a cameo appearance at a critical moment just to upset the Imperial commander!.

Paul, I will do my best, lighting in the Hotel Bar where we meet isn't spectacular though. I've pics off my phone of a previous couple of games but can't work out the procedure for downloading them on here, slightly thick when it comes to some aspects of IT i'm afraid. :(

One more for you........after putting down the resistance at Dhoub-el-Decka (hopefully) the forces of Queen Victoria (Gawd Bless 'er) will march on to Kharam-el-Wispa to meet the forces of the Mahdi in battle!   :D

Would I be correct in thinking the Mahdi's force include a contingent of Quirli Whirly Dervishes?

I think you peaked with Kharam-el-Wispa  ;)

Now, how do I download pics anyone?
as you post..look at the toolbar just above the smilies.
Second one in from the lefthand side,  click on it and you get this ...
Insert the url of the picture in the middle.

or..you copy the picture code from your host site (Tinypic or whatever) from the box that says "for forums/blackboads and paste it in your post here.  :)

The puns are dreadfull btw  :) ;) Keep em coming !!!
