« on: January 14, 2012, 01:39:36 AM »
We all need a break from the regular routine.........

Ronald joins in at Gettysburg

Couldn't get a clear shot but the cup says I heart LAF  :-*

Don't ask me why, I have no idea what the numskulls are up to. ::)

Anyone do clown wars? pm me if you're in the UK and you can have it free.

Which one of the Osprey titles did you use for the details?  lol

Very good. rather tickled me.

Looks to me like a copy from plate 3b in Performing Circus Volunteer Units during the American Civil War (2): The Union.
Although if I'm honest I'm not convinced the Tesco ammo pouches were issued until after Gettysburg.
I told you so. You damned fools.

That could be - allegorically - historical: in the ACW an old general, who did not like modern fashions, said to a Zouave officer that he looked like "a circus clown"...  lol

(I think I've read this in some Osprey).

I bet his bread-bag is a hamburger-bag?

Nearly, it's chicken nuggets, intended for launching at overweight enemy troops when things get desperate, distraction is an oft employed tactic in the clown theatre of war don'tcha know!

Bravo!

Yes, we like our little traditions here on the LAF. And with three examples I think it is now firmly established.

The LAF Aldi bag club never quite caught on, though...

Jeez, my highlighting was pretty sloppy back then.  lol

Reckon it's time to explore another genre on the tabletop - supermarket wars.
First across the table to the checkout wins.
