Dark Art Miniatures: Brutal: Gladiators meet Quake arena.

So anyone played the rules or seen the figures first hand?

Was looking through the ancient gladiator lists and all are a little too small and the sculpts a little dated. No issue with Sci-fi-ing it up a little and probably would look to Void and a few other companies to bulk out the Troupes.

They do look nice but the forum doesn't seem to have any activity after last Oct, so wouldn't want to spend £50 on a dead duck as it were. I will contact the company myself but in the interim...

can anyone enlighten me?

35mm then? How many pieces are they?

Which ones you got, and are you going to get round to using em? ;) (consider passing any over for a test paint?   :D).

I will have to check these out for use as players in Qwik. Especially considering I am planning on integrating the game of Qwik into my later ATZ Campaign (set a couple years after the initial outbreak).

they come in multiple Pieces seperate Weapon with Hands, half of an Arm with Sword,Arm with integral Shield...
The Deflector/Shield Guy is the smallest one i have-hes about the Size of a Foundry Judge or a Human Dark Age Mini (Forsaken,Outcast). The Bruiser is slightly larger and the Big Guy has about the same Size as the Pig Iron Warbots you might have,or Big Hammerstein from Foundry-Creature Size  :D
i have Plans to use them with the Glory in the Arena Rules just need to base them on Hex Bases-someday  ::)

So you were going to sci-fi the rules a bit to make the figures match I take it? I'm going to download the brutal rules and see how they play out first off. If they work stand alone good, if not I'll take the close combat weaponary sections and add to my Halo rules, see how that pans out.

Would be useful with Void, any of the larger 35mm ranges you have have to hand.

Cheers

So, here you go:

Hope it helps ;)

Good decision made by ordering them , they are nice minis.

I will have to check these out for use as players in Qwik. Especially considering I am planning on integrating the game of Qwik into my later ATZ Campaign (set a couple years after the initial outbreak).

Got me some "Bronze Age" generics to convert them as my team.
15 mm are to small ;)

So they would fit reasonable, (bearing in mind the thicker sculpts) with copplestone, urban mammoth would be a little hit or miss but might give those secutors a go.

Thanks for that appreciated. God know's why I bought them..here we go again!

I'll take a photo of the Urban war ones I have. I thought about using warmchine Jacks for opposition and some of my martians as well (2 armed things from parrroom miniatures, look odd)
