The galley is 11.5" long (192mm give or take) - and 2" swide (50mm). The gangway is 12mm wide.

The Swamp Folk figure stands 31mm to top of crest. Not counting the thin base.

The plan is for the screens to extend approx. 6mm above the gunwhales with a slight gap at the bottom to allow for the oars to stick out.

As far as rowers go, several different crews are planned. The basic Khmer crew, plus their main opponents: the Cham and an Amazon crew for the Garden of Kama setting. I would also like to have Tékumel related crews - Tsolei islanders perhaps? (I am intending to re-purpose the basic model as a Lorun war canoe as well.)

The intent is to do two variant oarsmen figures (or paddlers for the small canoe) for each side.

The Mara (Tibetan Demons) have been molded and I've just put in an order for 50 sets. Yay!

See Andrews earlier post in this thread forpics of the greens...

oh gosh, these are beautiful. I had NO idea how I missed them. 8O
I only wish Tekumel were easier to order from, and that I didn't have to interact with another person to do it...
They need a store something fierce.

Maybe those new 7Voyages by Crooked Dice? I just bought them but haven't really checked them out yet. Definitely something that allowed for heroic combat.

Yeah, some improvements could be made. I can't afford too much in the way of web-site and software costs, however.  :-[

The Mara are now available. I'll try and post piccies of the castings this evening or tomorrow...

The set comprises 6 x bodies, 6 x heads, and an assortment of left and right hands - some open, some with weapons. IIRC there are 5-6 sprues of weapons and hands, with different amounts on each sprue. Price: $30  for the set.

Tekumel Club discounts apply. A Molkar (ie Colonel in Tsolyani) receives a 40% discount on all our products. The cost is $50 per year.

Best Regards,

Through which of your blogs can the Mara prices be discovered and the Mara be purchased?

I looked at the greens and those are phenomenal. Have you considered looking into an Amazon storefront. I don't know what the costs on that are, but Stonehaven Miniatures is doing it and they are just starting out. Really easy to navigate through and to purchase.

These are so nice and if you put a link to your membership site to one place, I think loads of people would buy these.

Well, the price was mentioned in the post you replied to. ($30 for the set.)

You purchase by emailing me...green27 -at- sympatico -dot- ca

I am looking into a website. I do still have to take proper pictures, and I should note they are currently w/o bases - they have pegs to allow you to select your own scenic bases to mount them on. Perhaps Secret Weapon's Bone Field or Corpse Field bases would be appropriate?

Not Dead Yet.

Just to let you know, the Garden of Kama is still a "go", just very, very slowly it seems...

Federico Genovese and David Soderquist are going to detail the boats. I've even made a bit of a breakthrough regarding the wicker screens that screen the rowers. And Federico has finished 10 figures. All female. I'll wait until he has some males done before I show them off. He has to do Khmer and Cham. These are the Aoan and Ologogi Amazon factions.

And - for the record - I didn't ask him to start with the females, that is where he wanted to start.  :) Next he will have to do 10 Khmer fighters, and then 10 Cham. And then rowers for the galleys and paddlers for the canoes. For all factions.

Looks like the Amazons are going for molding sooner than expected. I received 4 variant Shen shields from the Tekumel range and the 10 Amazons last week. I don't want to do a master mold with just the shields on it so i guess if I'm going to get them done in a timely fashion I can't hold back the Amazons.  :)

It's not that I don't want to release them it just seems that all our figures seem to be scantily clad women. I swear that is not intentional - I mean they were intended to be scantily clad (we'll do slightly more clad versions from the masters later) - but I had hoped to intersperse the releases with more armoured up figures. Indeed, I sent one sculptor a list of 12 legions and the one he chose to start with was the scantily clad female legion...I guess the uniform was easier. Ditto with the Khmer...male Khmer and Cham figures (and maybe Siamese Mercs) are to follow, but by chance the females were done first.  8)

Mind you, we had loads of fully armoured females in our Yan Koryani and Tsolyani legions already (the original Eureka range) but they never sold as well as the less well armoured figures despite people some moaning about the alleged lack of such figures. Part of the problem is that a fully armoured female often just looks like a slighter version of the male figures. (Just liek in the RW. Go Figure).   lol
