Word is that they are from a time capsule that was opened on New Year's Eve. Personally I believe they are the harbringers of the coming apocalypse. Just go ask the Maya!

I said on another thread that I thought Bryan Ansell knew what he was doing.

Can I please withdraw that remark?
Back from the dead, almost.

The new dwarves have been to a spa? Are those cucumber slices over their eyes or have somebody gone mad and reasoned "well, they live underground so ofcourse they'll need a pair of sunglasses when they venture top-side"!?

Shockingly bad.

Anyone noticed the hands on the adventurer, second from the left....?

I find myself apathetic to everything but the dwarves.
I happen to like goggles on dwarves very much - but I do not understand why they were painted as rust colored buttons instead of see through glass spectacles.  :?

I also rather like the gladiatrix spartan girls...

Wow.  How does something like that get through the QC, the painting and the photography stages?

The Foundry guys seem to be cracking up completely.  Its sad really.

I might need that wizard that's going around pointing at people's crotches, though. For a "Kim Jong Il looking at things" kind of deal, standing him next to everything new I paint and take pictures of. Or even better, with new terrain pieces. "See right there, that stain there? Mmmm hmm, did the dirty business right there last night". Get out of my terrain shots you dirty old man!

That assassin dude's hand is seriously scary.

Fantasy gaming has always been missing a mini of freak, though a rather odd choice for a band of adventurers.

With the phalic symbol in his other hand he's saying to the minis next to him 'ha, look how big mine is'; a seriously immature wizard.

This could turn into a disastrous caption competition.

How they got away with that hand is anybody's guess... that is just poor.

The cleric actually looks half decent though, hopeully I'll be able to pick him up individually on eBay at some point...

Yes I'd quite like the priest/cleric for El Cid games.

Oh dear. The deterioration in quality from the glorious heyday of The Perrys, Copplestone, Owen, Saleh, et al, is almost complete. They must be the only manufacturer in the wargames figure market that is visibly going backward in terms of figure design and quality...  :(
Really quite sad.
